Eventive is similar to a shoutbox, only, instead of entering a message users enter an event and the script then displays how long is remaining until that event on the page the script is on (designed to be viewed in a iframe), It is easily customiseable via CSS and displays different messages depenging on whether the event is today, tomorrow, yesterday or sometime in the future.

This script requires a webserver that has GD already enabled and you can have your own PHP GD countdown! Visit BizzarScripts.net for an example of what it can do. You can change the variables to select a date, as well as change the background image to suit your needs. I wrote this for my HL2 site, www.hl2empire.com and it works really well. I included instructions for converting it to a PNG file and using that in a forum that doesn't allow PHP.
